May 20, 2009, (Wednesday) at 7:00 PM at the Fayston Municipal Offices
The legal voters of the Town of Fayston are hereby notified that the Selectboard received a petition to ask the voters to RESCIND Article 19 as lastly voted and passed on March 3, 2009. Therefore the selectboard is warning and notifying the legal voters to meet at the Fayston Municipal Office on May 20, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. to transact the following business:
Article 1. Shall the voters of the Town of Fayston vote to RESCIND “Article 19. Shall the Town of Fayston engage the Washington County Sheriff’s Department from April 1, 2009 until December 31, 2009 for an amount not to exceed $8,000.00?” as lastly voted and passed on March 3, 2009?
A YES is a vote to rescind the passed motion. A NO vote will allow Article 19 to engage the Sheriff’s Department.
